> This MUGEN AI tournament will be a double elimination one, meaning that a fighter isn't eliminated until he/she loses two matches. There will be 32 fighters, some from various fighting games, and some original creations. Out of the 35 fighters in my tourney roster, I picked out the eight that I felt were the strongest, and gave them seeds so they wouldn't have to face each other until later on in the event. I wrote the name of each fighter on an index card, put the seeded fighters on my bed where they would have been on a tournament tree, shuffled the rest of the deck, and placed each card from the top of the stack down on the tournament tree from the top down. Because there were 35 fighters in the roster, and only 32 available slots, three fighters were left over at the bottom of the stack, and will not participate in the tournament. For this year's tournament, I will be using General Chicken's Dune 2 screenpack. The matches will be best two rounds out of three, with each round lasting up to 60 seconds, and game will be set at a speed of Fast 3. This is to keep the matches short in order to save space on my hard drive and on my server.
